Every woman is an inspiration in herself

"Do not live someone else’s life and someone else’s idea of what womanhood is.

Womanhood is you. Womanhood is everything that’s inside of you.”

Inspiration can be found in the darkest of times or the bright daylight if we only open our eyes to see them. From the last 19 years, I have been fortunate enough to see women who are not only trying to improve their lifestyle but also inspiring people around them. I think learning from the people around us, with whom we share personal connections gives us deeper insights and a more clear view of how things work out and how we should tackle them. Stating one of my biggest inspirations, my grandmother who is approximately around 82 years old and still carries that igniting a fire inside her to learn new & difficult things which are completely outside of her understanding zone. Last month, she got adamant and ordered a smartphone for herself because she was so fascinated to see how the whole world is at her fingertips. I think that’s so commendable. She is learning day by day and is always curious about every little detail.

Every generation of women is strong and powerful in their own way.  Since the beginning of civilization, women have been as strong as their male counterparts either compared physically, emotionally, or spiritually. With the changing world, the criteria of evaluation have changed. Now with women being more educated and aware of their rights, they are stepping out and capturing their world and at their own cost. The only difference between the generations is that now women are realizing that they too have a life of their own and they are responsible for making the most out of it. We have been spoon-fed for ages that women are soft and fragile and cannot be tough fighters- neither physically nor emotionally but the truth is diametrically opposite. Seeing my household maid, she is such a tough warrior and so strong. She has nine daughters and one son to feed alone. Her husband doesn’t give her any sort of living expenses and doesn’t share with her the burden of sustaining. Nevertheless, she is working so hard day and night, earning as much as possible and trying to give her children their every bit of deserved happiness. Don’t you think that’s the true meaning of an inspirational lady? It’s not confined to one place, the world is filled with such strong and self-sufficient ladies fighting their own battles. Comparing with other genders that they are stronger than them is not a mature way of proving yourself, a person is judged as strong by the way how he or she reacts in adversity and women have always stood high against all the challenges.

Women shouldn’t feel that they have no purpose here, if we exist that means we are implied to be. Life is full of a never-ending void of troubles and sadness, if we give up on ourselves no one will heal our wounds or fill our voids. We need to stand up for ourselves and find answers because that is the only perpetual solution. No women are incapable of finding their true selves and I think that gives them their unique individuality and that just completes the definition of inspiration. We have the power to inhale sunrise and exhale sunsets. WE BELONG.
